There are towns on Meraki built for power, wealth, or prestige. And then there is Sandyland — a sun-soaked coastal retreat where the priorities are far simpler: collecting sticks, digging holes, skipping rocks across the water, and asking complete strangers if they want to touch the starfish somebody just found five minutes ago.

Founded officially on April 9, 2026 by RoseRed, though construction began even earlier, Sandyland has quickly become one of the server’s most beloved destinations. Tucked just a short jaunt away from spawn, the settlement feels less like a town and more like an endless vacation that somebody accidentally turned into a civilization. And it is a mere 4,693 blocks away from whispered location of the Founder of Meraki treasure.

The atmosphere is unmistakable from the moment you arrive. Warm ocean breezes drift through sandy pathways while cherry blossoms soften the coastline with streaks of pink. Massive sculptures rise from the beaches like landmarks from a dream: towering picnic baskets, a giant wine bottle half-buried in the sand, a cheerful crab, a flamingo floaty large enough to be seen from offshore, sea turtles, sandcastles, and even an unforgettable statue of King Ham relaxing in a bikini. Overlooking everything sits an extraordinary beach house inspired by Avatar, watching over the shoreline like a resort perched at the edge of paradise.
But Sandyland’s greatest feature is not its builds — it is its people.
The town currently consists of three residents: RoseRed, PostBuilder, and CookieLord. Together, they have created one of the most active and productive communities on the server despite Sandyland technically remaining only a settlement for now.
Shimmy, also known as PostBuilder, serves as the town’s artistic engine — the sort of builder capable of turning ordinary beach clutter into landmarks players remember long after they leave. CookieLord brings a completely different talent to the shoreline: an uncanny ability to engineer productive farms with frightening efficiency. Combined with RoseRed’s leadership, ambition, and endless energy, the trio has become one of the driving forces behind server infrastructure itself.
In fact, Sandyland currently makes up three-fourths of Meraki’s remarkably efficient Nether highway team. While their home radiates relaxation, the residents themselves are no strangers to danger or hard work. Long tunnel projects, dangerous expeditions, and large-scale community efforts have become routine for the group. RoseRed is even leading current efforts to transform the spawn region into a more welcoming experience for future residents arriving on Meraki for the first time.
And despite all that effort, Sandyland never loses its identity.

The town has strict — though charmingly creative — build themes. Traditional wooden houses may earn suspicious looks unless, of course, the house happens to resemble an enormous piece of driftwood washed ashore by the tide. In that case, you may very well receive a warm welcome and an enthusiastic beach tour.
Financially, the settlement is thriving. Sandyland currently sits at 91 townblocks, maintains a healthy town bank of 8,105 Meraki, and produces an impressive 32 diamond ore daily. In other words, the sand people are absolutely swimming in diamonds.
Yet none of that wealth overshadows the real reason players visit.
Sandyland succeeds because it captures something rare in the world: comfort. It is the sort of place where nobody seems rushed. Where players gather under umbrellas to escape the sun, wander the shoreline at sunset, or spend an hour discussing whether a seashell belongs on a dock or beside a flower bed. The town feels lived in. Relaxed. Human.

In a world filled with kingdoms, industries, and grand ambitions, Sandyland quietly reminds visitors that sometimes the best places are simply the ones where people enjoy being together beside the water.

Sandy land really is simply the coolest.
